The following are the rules for lands and how to travel.
While every land is unique and different, these rules apply to all of them.
With traveling, only certain lands can be reached from another land, the following chart explains which lands can be traveled to while in a certain land:
The North: Can travel to The West, The North East, and Midergern.
The West: Can travel to The North, The South Western, and Midergern.
The North East: Can Travel to The North, The East, and Midergern.
The East: Can Travel to The North East, The South Eastern, and Midergern.
The South, Western: Can travel to The West, The South Eastern, and Midergern.
The South, Eastern: Can travel to The East, The South Western, and Midergern.
Midergern: Can travel to all.
1. To travel to a different land, you must first have exited all topics in the land you intend to leave, and then create a topic in the specified borders that lead to the land you wish to travel to. Then, you must make, at minimum, a 300 word post stating your exit of that land.
2. Upon entering a new land, you do not have to create an entrance topic in that land's borders.
3. Despite each land being a continent, you may cross without use of boat or transport, for social purposes of not isolating anyone.
4. Just like any other topic, your exiting of a land may be interrupted. However, this cannot be stopped with creating it as a private or invite only topic. Yet, if a moderator or admin approves your exit, then it is closed, and cannot be interrupted.
5. Your exit does not have to be approved in order for you to move on. If your travel topic remains un-approved for 48 hours, then it becomes closed, and your character travels to the intended location, without being able to be interrupted.
6. Every land has 4 areas, one town, two wilderness areas, and the borders. Each one of these, not including the borders, has 5 sub-categories, and the town will have sub-categories within that.
7. For every wilderness area, 1 out of the 5 sub-categories will be different, and clearly labeled with a "warning" in their title. In these areas, take extra caution, because private and invite only topics cannot be created, and any topic in the area is open to from anyone. Also, in these areas, it is possible for a moderator or administrator to invade in the form of a monster or npc, and attack the player. These npcs will be scaled to the player level.
-- However, if after the topic in a warning area is done, the player states that they specifically exit deeper into the warning area, you should expect a higher level of monsters and npc's to invade. To exit deeper, all exit posts in that topic must be approved by a moderator before the next topic (the one made deeper in the warning area) is made.
-- If you do not specifically state that you exit deeper into a warning area, it will be assumed that you leave the warning area.
8. Please try to post in the most specific land topic as you can. For example, do not post in the castle in the west, instead, post in either the keep, the courtyard, or the throne room within the castle in the west.
