Edgardo had lost all purpose. He was no great king, no hero, just a bureaucrat. He had started his great adventure with hope that he might still be able to do something great with his life. No, he had not. Crippling sadness took him, and with a final look out over the city which had bled him dry, he leapt from the balcony at the top of the tower.

(requesting the permadeath of Edgardo; maybe his ghost could haunt the tower/city as an admin controlled NPC? Doesn't matter to me.)
